Set your intention

I would suggest having a fresh notebook for this. Perhaps a Folder on Google Drive. Basically, I want you to have this ‘healing’ business all by itself. I want you to be able to reflect and only see this stuff. Whatever your tool is, have a tool just for healing exercises. This is going to be a process and I want to encourage you to take as much time as you need for this. If you are feeling stuck at all, please feel free to reach out to me.

Define your ‘ideal self’, avoiding negative phrases or words. In your perfect world, what qualities would you have? What behaviors would be different and how will you feel when you have successfully obtained these qualities?  For starters, I would suggest having one area for Personal, Money/Financial and Self-Expression (either through hobbies, activities, music, however, you classify your personal health in self-expression)

Rather than saying, I want to do more stuff with my kids, I will say I am committed to doing abc with my kids, and xyz as a family.  I will feel efg when I am committed to this plan. Really lay it all out there. Anything and everything you wish you were doing differently. This is your personal space. There is no right or wrong here.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Choose ONE from each category to focus on at a time. Once a week, revisit your list of what your intentions were. What steps could you make to make this your reality? Remember, it takes 21 days to make or break a habit.
