Just for today- Emotions

Today we are going to look at our sacral chakra which focuses on emotional discipline.

How do you feel on a day to day basis?  If you had a terrible day at work, dinner went wrong, one thing after another- and I asked you, what was the best part of your day- would you be able to give me an answer? Remember, the only thing we have control over is our own actions and our own emotions. We have control in how we react and respond to every situation. Part of emotional discipline is learning to acknowledge our disappointments (or negative feelings) and release them. Holding onto that negative energy will do you no good. The more you hold onto it, the more it will grow.

Today I want you to write this down:

Just for today, I will release my worries.
Just for today, I will release my anger.

Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
Just for today, I will give thanks for all of my blessings.
Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing.

It is just for today. Tomorrow will be here soon enough.
